    What are the network requirements for EShare?

    The CTOUCH Display and the EShare clients must be on the same network!

    To get a really reliable, robust user experience, it is strongly recommended to connect the large display using Ethernet and the client device using a 5GHZ WiFi band.

    The following network ports/protocols should be available:

     

    51010 TCP Airplay receive the video URL streaming
    51020 TCP Airplay protocol events
    51030 TCP Airplay video streaming
    51040 TCP Airplay control RTSP protocol messages, including heartbeats, starting/stopping sharing, etc.
    52020 TCP To support the touch feedback in client screen sharing
    52030 TCP To synchronize the screen sharing status
    8121 TCP To receive the streaming of music, pictures, videos, documents, mouse control and other information from EShare clients
    48689 UDP To discover the receiver device at the same network
    UDP Random Port UDP Airplay Audio Transport on random available port
    5353 UDP AirPlay discovery device
    443 HTTPS https://h1.ee-share.com license activation
    80 HTTP http://hub.ee-share.com license activation (backup)
    52333 TCP To support the YouTube video playing
    51050 UDP To transport the mouse position information to the receiver side
    57395 TCP To support the moderator control feature
    53000 TCP To control the switch "Confirm Before Mirroring" in EShareServer V3
    25123 TCP To support the audio sharing of the microphone feature of the mobile phone clients and the screen sharing of ChromeOS client. This port isn't fixed. The default port is 25123. If binding fails, it will be increased by 1.

    • DNS: h1.ee-share.com
    • Please enable the broadcast function of the router.

    With EShare it is possible to use Airplay*. For this check ports and settings below:

    • Please ensure that mDNS of network/AP/router (if possible) is enabled.
    • TCP Ports: 51040, 51030, 51020 & 51010
    • UDP Ports: 5353 (mDNS to broadcast AirPlay*)
