How does the AirServer application work?
The AirServer application is included in the box of the CTOUCH Canvas frame. The AirServer software supports Apple AirPlay (on iPhone, iPad, Apple PC's and Macbooks), Google Cast (Android phones/tablets and Chomebrook) and Microsoft Miracast (Windows and Linux).
So you don't need to download any application on your device to share wirelessly, you can just use the native wireless sharing option on your device.
Please note that touch-back is not supported by Apple AirPlay and by Google Cast. Touch-back is supported by Microsoft Miracast up to 10 touch points if you have windows 10.
Most LG and Samsung phones have build in Miracast which make it possible to have touch-back.
You can enable touchback on Windows 10 as follows:
- Press the Windows Key + K
- Select the AirServer instance you want to mirror to
- Tick the "Allow input from a keyboard or mouse connected to this display" box
Airserver can show a maximum of 9 devices at the same time.
The screen and the device do need to be in the same network in order to share wirelessly.
