For screen sharing or screencasting, we use an application called Voila, which uses WebRTC to establish a connection between 2Share Essentials and laptop.
During initial setup, you need to add the information on how to connect for company employees and guest. In CMENU you will find a script which will guide through the process. Before starting the script, make sure that you have network names and password for guest network ready. Setting up the Voila can be made as follow:
a. Switch 2Share Essentials to CLI terminal using the process from here.
b. Log in with the username and password.
c. In the "CMENU" select the number corresponding to "Configure Voila" and press [Enter].
If you have all details ready type "Y" and press [Enter] to continue.
If the company has multiple networks, make sure that you enter the network which can send and receive WebRTC traffic from 2Share Essentials. You can read more about WebRTC and Voila here.
Input the guest network and the password. If you have an open guest network just press [Enter].
The new configuration will be saved, but I will become active only after you reboot the 2Share Essentials. When asked for reboot, type "Y" and press [Enter]. 2Share Essentials will reboot after 10 seconds.
After restart check if the information displayed in the Voila welcome screen are correct.
