How to switch from CTOUCH Essentials to a CLI Terminal?

To switch from CTOUCH Essentials to CLI Terminal, you will require a USB keyboard connected one of the USB ports located on the bezel bottom edge. A USB icon marks them, and you can use any of them. 

Once you have the USB keyboard connected press simultaneously on the keyboard the following combination:

[CTRL]+[ALT]+[F1] 

CTOUCH Essentials will switch to CLI Terminal. 

CTOUCH Essentials has multiple modes and you can switch between them at any time. Below you can see a short description and how to switch between them. 

CTOUCH Essentials graphical interface

CTOUCH Essentials graphical interface is the main interface of the CTOUCH Essentials and contains all user functionality. For this mode, you can switch to CLI terminal for administrative tasks. The third mode screen saver will be activated if the device is not used and doesn't have an active session. 

CLI Terminal 

The CLI mode is for administrative tasks and requires USB keyboard input from the administrator. Do not use this mode if you are not an administrator or an approved technical person.  To go back from this mode to CTOUCH Essentials graphical interface press [ALT]+[F7]

Screen saver mode

Screen saver mode is active when the device is not used and doesn't an active session. Always after switching ON, CTOUCH Essentials will start in this mode. To begin using the CTOUCH Essentials, touch the screen.
