In some cases the router configuration is unknown, or the router doesn't have the correct behaviour. Also for the instances when the credentials for the router are forgotten or not known, the router can be reset to factory defaults. Resetting to factory defaults offer the possibility to remove any previous configuration including the username and password.
After factory reset the router will in gateway mode and have the default username: admin
Note: Be aware that you need to re-apply your network security configuration.
The procedure to do the factory reset is the following.
1. Switch on the unit and wait until it completely boots up. The 2Meet background will be displayed and offer the meeting options.
Take the remote control of the unit and input the following key sequence for the Dealer MENU:
INPUT -- ARROW UP -- ARROW DOWN -- VOLUME PLUS -- VOLUME MINUS
(Try to input in a continuous sequence without interruptions; if it doesn't work from the first attempt try again)
The dealer menu will appear on the left side of the screen, as in the picture from below.
Navigate with arrow key down unit you find Router (the item list is, and some of the options are not displayed).
Once you have selected the option press 'OK' on the remote. This will initiate the reset procedure.
Select OK and press again the OK button on the remote to confirm that you want to proceed.
The reset procedure will take 60 seconds after which the unit will return to the Dealer Menu. Press the Back button on the remote to exit from this menu.
Now the router is in factory default (gateway mode). You can proceed with configuration of the router. For more info check the router configuration article.
