How to use the drag and drop function in Chrome?
The phrase drag-and-drop is used to describe the action of selecting an object or section of text, moving it (dragging), and then placing it (dropping) into an alternate area. For example, to drag-and-drop an object such as an icon, you would first move your mouse cursor over it. Then, you would press and hold down the left mouse button, move it to the object to the location you desire, and release the button to drop it.
In the most situations you can do this on our touch screens by simply dragging the icon or selected file and drag it to the desired location where releasing your finger will result in dropping it. Since there a lot of different applications running within a browser using all kind of plug-ins and applets it can happen that the drag function is not working as desired. In the Chrome browser you have an option that can resolve this 'issue' in most cases.
Open the Chrome browser and type: chrome://flags in your address bar like in the example below:
Please perform a search on: Touch and you will see that several results will come up.
Please Enable the Touch Events and Chrome will prompt you that it needs a restart. After confirming the restart you're good to go!
